Gifts for Home
Lampe Berger fragrance lamps are always extremely popular but are now more beneficial than ever. They were invented over 100 years ago by the same engineers who invented the catalytic converter, and they use a heated coal lamp to purify the air in your home to remove harmful bacteria in the air. They can be filled with a neutral oil to purify the air only, but we love the fresh fragrances like Atlantic Tide, Pure White Tea, Borneo Teakwood and Paris Chic.
Some of our best gifts for holidays like birthdays and graduation come from a company called Tech Candy, based here in Birmingham, Alabama! They make a cell phone attachment with a little fan for hot summer days, a waterproof portable phone speaker, and a cute little daisy-shaped keychain-sized mini flashlight. They also make practical accessories like an origami phone wallet to keep your cards on the back of your phone, tags to put your name on your cell phone charger for shared spaces, and tech wipes to keep in your purse to keep your gadgets clean and sanitized.
The most popular gift at the moment is our cute print or hand-dyed masks. If it’s recommended that we wear them, we might as well make them cute and fun! Stock varies depending on availability, but we have triple thick cotton, reversible, washable masks in fun prints, solids, and children’s size. Store owner Laurel Bassett also hand-dyes masks, with all profits from the hand-dyed masks being donated to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. Pick up a couple for different wardrobe options!
During the holidays, we welcome treats from Flathau’s Fine Foods and Lambrecht Gourmet, two small-batch companies, made in the South. Flathau’s Fine Foods makes the most delectable, melt-in-your-mouth shortbreads and cheese straws you have ever tasted, and Lambrecht gourmet makes utterly addictive chocolate coated toffee, and they come in several sizes for gifting or sharing.
